International Moto Packing List
Each Guest will have a 20L Dry bag to fit your non-riding gear in. You will need much less clothing than you think during the non-riding time.
We are NOT camping on this trip so that is why the typical camp-related Wilderness gear is omitted from the list below.
Your luggage and any items you don’t wish to bring on the trail with you (IE: clean clothes for flights home), will be secureley stored in our staging location and will be waiting for you after the trip.
What experience level is required for this trip?
This is an intermediate ride with high mileage days and rough terrain. Riders should have plenty of off-road experience and be comfortable standing while riding and have good endurance for longer days.
I’m an advanced rider, will I be bored?
Absolutely not! We know what it’s like to be on a trip and feel like you can’t go as fast as you want so we’ve designed the trip to allow experienced riders to rip at the front of the pack and not have to worry about the rest of the group keeping up. And our lead guides are trained to ride just a bit faster than you 😉
What are the requirements?
- Age 16+ (no max age limit)
- Valid motorcycle license in your state/country (NOT a permit only)
- Good physical fitness
Can I bring a C-PAP machine?
Yes, if you have a portable C-PAP machine we can charge it nightly with the inverter on the chase truck.
Where do I pack my stuff and keep my luggage?
The chase truck will carry your sleeping bag and ground pad. Your clothing will be packed into a 30L dry bag and loaded into the chase truck.
Additional luggage that you are not bringing on the ride can be stored securely at our staging location.
What if my family needs to get in touch with me?
They can email us at info@wildernesscollective.com and your lead guide will be notified of the emergency. We have a satellite phone and satellite text communicator with us at all times.
What if I get lost?
Every guest is provided with a personal SPOT GPS tracking device which we can use to locate them or trigger a search and rescue with the local SAR services.
What is your firearm policy?
Though you may be accustomed to riding with a personal firearm, we have a no firearms policy on all our trips in accordance with our insurance policy guidelines. Please leave it at home.
What about recreational drugs?
Our company guidelines, our insurance policies, and our partners are committed to a drug-free environment on our trips whether legal or not.
i.e. Cannabis is now legal in California in plant and edible form but is still not allowed on our trips, per our insurance policy guidelines.
Weed is what gets stuck in your spokes. Dirt is the only drug you’ll need.
What if I get hurt?
- Should any minor injuries occur on the trip, we will have a comprehensive medical kit along
- Should any serious injury occur, we will take the support vehicle to the nearest town
- Should any life-threatening injury occur we will activate a helicopter medical evacuation through the Satellite Messaging Device

DON’T WORRY, we will have a sat phone with us at all times for inbound and outbound emergency communication with family. All Wilderness trips have been device-free since we started. This means we’ll let your phone take the weekend off in this secure environment.
This is intentional to ensure that you get to experience a unique distraction-free experience and is always a highlight of the guests. Oh and don’t bring your camera either, we’ll be capturing all the photos so you can just enjoy the experience. #trustus
1. Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy
Cancellation or rescheduling requests initiated by the participant must be received in writing to Wilderness Collective. The following terms apply:
- 60 or more days before the tour start date: All payments made (including deposit and balance) will be issued as a credit to be applied toward a future Wilderness Collective tour. This credit is valid for one (1) year from the date of issue.
- 59 days or fewer before the tour start date: All payments made (including deposit and balance) are non-refundable and non-creditable. No credits or refunds will be issued.
Because unexpected events can occur, Wilderness Collective strongly recommends that all participants obtain independent travel insurance with trip cancellation, travel medical, and emergency evacuation coverage (e.g., World Nomads, Allianz, Travel Guard) to protect against loss. Participants are financially responsible for any costs associated with medical care or evacuation.
Cancellations initiated by Wilderness Collective due to circumstances beyond our control—including but not limited to fires, weather, terrorism, civil strife, floods, earthquakes, or other natural catastrophes—will result in the full amount of payments made being credited toward a future Wilderness Collective tour.
2. Refunds & Unused Services
- No refunds will be provided for any unused portion of a trip once the trip begins, including if you leave a trip early for any reason or are removed from a trip.
- Trip pricing is a package cost; refunds and credits are not available for services not used.
- There are no exceptions to this cancellation and refund policy, including for weather, terrorism, civil strife, personal, family, or medical emergencies, or other circumstances beyond our control.
3. Participant Expenses & Responsibilities
- Wilderness Collective is not responsible for expenses incurred in preparing for a trip (e.g., nonrefundable air tickets, equipment purchases, etc.) or for additional arrangements before or after a tour.
- This policy applies whether the tour is altered, modified, or canceled by us or by you for any reason.
4. Pricing & Discounts
- From time to time, Wilderness Collective may offer reduced pricing on certain products or services.
- Reduced pricing applies only to new bookings. Existing bookings with deposits or payments already received are not eligible for reduced pricing.
5. Minimum Group Size Requirement
- All trips require a minimum number of participants.
- If your trip does not meet this minimum, you will be notified and offered alternative departure dates.
- Because trips may be canceled for insufficient sign-ups, we recommend purchasing refundable air tickets or waiting until Wilderness Collective confirms your trip (approximately 3 months prior to departure).
6. Payment Terms
Final balances are due 60 days prior to departure and will be charged to the card on file at that time.
