JACKSON HOLE, WY SNOWMOBILE TOUR

Explore some of the very best snowmobile terrain in North America with us on this 4 day snowmobile tour in Jackson Hole. We’ll be exploring endless miles of trails and epic powder fields in the Bridger-Teton National Forest just south of Yellowstone National Park. We’ll spend each night at the 5 star remote backcountry lodge to rest and relax before the next day of riding. As always all gear, food, and machine rentals are included along with guides, a pro videographer and photographer. This tour is operated in Partnership with Brooks Lake Lodge.

Cost:
• $5,995 per person
• 30% deposit due upon booking. Balance due 60 days before departure

Duration: 4 days, 3 nights

Accommodations: Luxury lodge – Double Occupancy (single-occupancy upgrade available)

Difficulty: Beginner to Intermediate (no prior snowmobile experience needed though it is helpful)

Itinerary

Day 1:

  • 12:00pm pickup at JAC airport in Jackson Hole (A Wilderness host will be there to meet you and our transportation vans will say Brooks Lake Lodge on them)
  • Approx 2hr transport to the lodge with lunch stop en route
  • Ice fishing
  • Dinner and revelry

Day 2:

  • Coffee is up at 6:15 am
  • Breakfast at the lodge 8-9 am
  • Snowmobile all-day with lunch on the trail or at the lodge
  • Ride back to the lodge for dinner and revelry

Day 3:

  • Coffee is up at 6:15 am
  • Breakfast at the lodge 8-9 am
  • Snowmobile all-day with lunch on the trail or at the lodge
  • Ride back to the lodge for dinner and revelry

Day 4:

  • Meet up for an early breakfast with luggage packed
  • Morning snowmobile ride
  • Lunch at the lodge
  • 12pm checkout and approx transport back to Jackson for outgoing flights

Yes, we really do take your phones away…
All Wilderness trips have been device-free since we started. This means we’ll lock your phone in a safe and don’t bring your camera either. This is intentional to ensure that you get to experience a unique distraction-free experience and is always a highlight of the guests. We’ll be capturing all the photos so you can just enjoy the experience. #trustus

DON’T WORRY, We will have a sat phone with us at all times for inbound and outbound emergency communication with family.

Packing List

Bring a medium-size duffel bag or your standard travel luggage as it will be stored in our rooms at the lodge. While riding there is very limited storage on the machines, just enough room for a small water bottle or extra pair of goggles. Consider bringing a small backpack if you’d like to pack an extra layer while riding.

What you should bring:

  • 1-2 pairs of warm long underwear (medium to heavyweight)
  • 1-2 warm tops wool or synthetic fleece (medium to heavyweight)
  • 2+ pairs calf height thin synthetic or wool sock
  • moisture-wicking tee shirts
  • moisture-wicking underwear
  • down puffy jacket or shell plus layers
  • knit hat
  • light pants or sweats (optional for hanging out at the lodge)
  • house slippers/moccasins (optional for hanging out at the lodge)
  • mid-weight gloves (optional for hanging around the lodge/ice-fishing etc)
  • headlamp
  • sunglasses/case
  • small 1L insulated water bottle
  • toiletries
  • neck gaiter/balaclava (we can supply these but you can bring your own if you prefer)
  • Clear lens snow goggles (bring optional tinted lens if you’d like)
