FULL PACKING LIST

I’ve never been backcountry skiing, is this trip for me?
This trip is ideal for intermediate skiers/boarders who are totally comfortable on resort blue and black runs. There is no “extreme” terrain that you must ride however there’s a higher level of skill and awareness required compared to a resort. The runs are not particularly steep, however you need confidence riding in trees, across and down the fall line and navigating deep snow.

1. Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy

Cancellation or rescheduling requests initiated by the participant must be received in writing to Wilderness Collective. The following terms apply:

  • 60 or more days before the tour start date: All payments made (including deposit and balance) will be issued as a credit to be applied toward a future Wilderness Collective tour. This credit is valid for one (1) year from the date of issue.
  • 59 days or fewer before the tour start date: All payments made (including deposit and balance) are non-refundable and non-creditable. No credits or refunds will be issued.

Because unexpected events can occur, Wilderness Collective strongly recommends that all participants obtain independent travel insurance with trip cancellation, travel medical, and emergency evacuation coverage (e.g., World Nomads, Allianz, Travel Guard) to protect against loss. Participants are financially responsible for any costs associated with medical care or evacuation.

Cancellations initiated by Wilderness Collective due to circumstances beyond our control—including but not limited to fires, weather, terrorism, civil strife, floods, earthquakes, or other natural catastrophes—will result in the full amount of payments made being credited toward a future Wilderness Collective tour.

2. Refunds & Unused Services

  • No refunds will be provided for any unused portion of a trip once the trip begins, including if you leave a trip early for any reason or are removed from a trip.
  • Trip pricing is a package cost; refunds and credits are not available for services not used.
  • There are no exceptions to this cancellation and refund policy, including for weather, terrorism, civil strife, personal, family, or medical emergencies, or other circumstances beyond our control.

3. Participant Expenses & Responsibilities

  • Wilderness Collective is not responsible for expenses incurred in preparing for a trip (e.g., nonrefundable air tickets, equipment purchases, etc.) or for additional arrangements before or after a tour.
  • This policy applies whether the tour is altered, modified, or canceled by us or by you for any reason.

4. Pricing & Discounts

  • From time to time, Wilderness Collective may offer reduced pricing on certain products or services.
  • Reduced pricing applies only to new bookings. Existing bookings with deposits or payments already received are not eligible for reduced pricing.

5. Minimum Group Size Requirement

  • All trips require a minimum number of participants.
  • If your trip does not meet this minimum, you will be notified and offered alternative departure dates.
  • Because trips may be canceled for insufficient sign-ups, we recommend purchasing refundable air tickets or waiting until Wilderness Collective confirms your trip (approximately 3 months prior to departure).

6. Payment Terms

Final balances are due 60 days prior to departure and will be charged to the card on file at that time.
