Travel Day, plan to arrive in Anchorage before 3pm. There will be an ongoing shuttle from the airport to the hotel (The Lakefront Anchorage). Hotel check-in. Meet the other riders and the staff at the welcome dinner.
DAY 02
Anchorage, Alaska to Chitina, Alaska via one of North America’s most scenic byways, the Glenn Highway. Glaciers flow down from the mountains in the distance and the route eventually narrows into a canyon with views of the Matanuska River and Glacier.
DAY 03
Chitina, Alaska to Kennecott Mine. This day includes a there and back ride from the historic town of Chitina to one of the nation’s oldest and scenic copper mines and abandoned mining towns. This day will be a mix of gravel and paved roads via the Edgerton Highway amongst some of the most beautiful desolate mountain ranges.
DAY 04
Explore Wrangell-St. Elias National Park while riding through the Copper Center Area and the Richardson Highway which parallels the Alaska Pipeline for many miles and the scenery transitions from the Alaska Range to the Wrangell Mountains. Ending the day on the Denali Highway, which parallels the Alaska Range and is widely accepted as the most scenic route in Alaska. Stay at a remote lodge on the Susitna River.
DAY 05
Free day on the Denali Highway: Explore the mountainous area on challenging two-track and mining roads in the area. Get ready for water crossings, ever changing terrain and abundant wildlife. This day may bring a potential fishing opportunity as well. This is an Alaska most locals don’t even experience. Stay another night on the Denali Highway.
DAY 06
Denali Highway, Alaska to Talkeetna, Alaska. Heading South on the Parks highway the group will enjoy spectacular views of the Alaska range before heading into the original entrance to Denali National Park. Keep your eyes peeled for Denali, North America’s tallest Peak as you head into Talkeetna, a famous mountaineering town.

DAY 07
Talkeetna, Alaska back to Anchorage, Alaska via Hatcher Pass – Ride south from a historic Independence mine before taking a scenic and challenging 40-mile dirt pass connecting the Parks Highway to the final stretch of pavement back to Anchorage. Plan to fly out on a red eye this night or stay another night in Anchorage (not included in the trip’s price).
