2021 Season Internships
Adventure Logistics Internship
Requirements:
- Be a fast mover and self-starter
- Must love hard work and be allergic to complaining
- 8hr per week minimum commitment (excluding trips)
- Be available to attend 1 Wilderness Trip
- 12 Week total commitment
- Have reliable transportation to our Los Angeles HQ
Prep/Post Trip Duties:
- unloading chase truck and trailer after trips
- cleaning and maintaining helmets/armor/boots
- cleaning, organizing and maintaining camp gear
- charging and maintaining all radios and other comm’s equipment
- manage inventory of guest expendables and spare parts
Trip Duties:
- Assisting staff on Wilderness expeditions
- Camp setup/cleanup
- Dish-washing and chef assistance
Objectives:
- To develop professional skills in working with a dynamic leadership environment
- To build skills in working well as a team as interns across multiple departments
- To gain well-rounded knowledge of a mission-based, grassroots organization and develop a sense of entrepreneurship
